Four-star outside linebacker Payton Wilson had originally been committed to North Carolina since May of this year, but decided to decommit in late November. Now, it appears the recruiting flip is complete as Wilson took to Twitter to announce his new school:

Wilson will be heading to North Carolina State and looks pretty excited to do so. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound linebacker out of Hillsborough, N.C. is rated as the No. 3 player in the state and No. 3 player at his position in the class of 2018 according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He also has offers from Notre Dame, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Florida State among others. His recruitment was believed to be down to UNC and NCSU with the Wolfpack the heavy favorite after his decommitment. It looks like those predictions came true and N.C. State is getting a huge recruit in the state over their rival.
