Tom Herman loses another in-state recruiting battle over four-star WR Arjei Henderson

A pretty big coup for this school.

Arjei Henderson was believed to be a pretty heavy Texas lean as 247Sports' and Scout's crystal ball prediction gave the Longhorns a 44 percent chance of landing him. However, he ended up committing to the team with the second-most predictions in Oregon. He took to Twitter to make the announcement:

Here's some of what he said in his tweet:

"After long nights of praying and much thought...I'm Ready. I WILL be closing my recruitment down 100% for good. I Also want to thank all Universities for the love and support throughout this recruitment process. At Heart I'm a duck. I will be Committing to the University of Oregon!"

The 6'1", 179-pound receiver out of Richmond, Texas also had offers from almost 50 schools including Oklahoma, Alabama, Arizona, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Florida State, LSU, Miami and Ohio State among others. He's rated as the No. 12 receiver by 247Sports and No. 8 recruit in the state of Texas.
