Kalon Gervin dropped a top five list of schools last month after he had decommitted from Notre Dame. They included Louisville, Oklahoma, Oregon, Virginia Tech and Michigan State. However, it seems that he might have a top six now as he told 247Sports that another school has been gaining steam on those programs in Florida.

He specifically mentioned Florida as gaining steam despite not being in his top five list and said that they might even get one of his official visits.
"Virginia Tech, Oregon, Michigan State, Florida — Florida asked me to come, but they're not even in my top 5 — Louisville, Oklahoma. That's about it, really."

"VT, Oregon and Oklahoma will get one for sure. Probably Louisville, Florida, Michigan State — they might get one. They probably can, I'm not sure. But I know VT, Oklahoma and Oregon — they're getting one for sure."
He highlighted Oklahoma as well and said they secured a visit for sure. The 5'11", 180-pound cornerback is ranked as the No. 21 CB in the class of 2018 and the No. 2 player in the state of Michigan by the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Of the 38 offers he holds, some are from Arkansas, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin as well as others.
