Four-star weakside defensive end Ronnie Perkins has officially committed to a Big 12 power. He took to Twitter to make his announcement:

He will be headed to Oklahoma next year despite the confusing picture of his home state Missouri in one of his pictures in that tweet. The 6-foot-3, 256-pound defensive end out of Saint Louis is ranked as the No. 5 player at his position and No. 3 recruit in Missouri according to 247Sports.

He also had offers from Michigan, USC, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Miami and Notre Dame among others.

Perkins becomes the 20th commitment for Oklahoma’s 2018 recruiting class. They are currently in the Top 10 in the recruiting rankings at both 247Sports and Rivals.
