The Michigan Wolverines went 15-0 this season, winning the college football national championship. Still, the lead-up to it was mired in a controversy involving allegations of sign-stealing/sign-scouting, and now some users on X are already pushing a conspiracy theory that the title will be vacated soon.

Everyone is just forgetting Michigan blatantly cheated the sport lol, and it seemed like every call went their way, don’t get it. Congrats to them, even though it’ll be vacated in a year and a half lol

Since Louisville had an NCAA title vacated over stripper-related issues with no competitive significance, can Michigan’s CFP title survive NCAA investigation of its improper sign-stealing? If so, a double standard exists. If so, U of L should put its banner back up.

anybody still seriously talking about sign stealing/vacated wins/whatever, after post-Stalions Michigan has run through Penn State, Ohio State and Alabama and is favored in the national title game, is just in terminal stages of cope and does not warrant attention

The Wolverines became national champions when they defeated the No. 2-seeded Washington Huskies 34-13 on Monday night.
Now, Michigan fans will wait to see if the title is eventually vacated (as some X users claim will happen) — but, more immediately, what the future is for head coach Jim Harbaugh.
