Report: Michigan OC Tim Drevno stepping down, and they may already have his replacement

Well this just got interesting.

On Friday morning, it was reported that Michigan offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Tim Drevno had resigned his position and was expected to take a job elsewhere.

As for finding new coaches for those positions that Drevno leaves behind, head coach Jim Harbaugh may not need to look very far. According to Sports Illustrated's Bruce Feldman, offensive analyst Ed Warriner is expected to take over the offensive line coaching duties.

As far as speculation goes, the current expectation is that current Michigan offensive analyst and former Florida head coach Jim McElwain will be hired as the team's new offensive coordinator. However, nothing has been made official yet on McElwain's status with the now open positions.

McElwain joined Michigan's staff just a few days ago.
