Five-star offensive guard Jamaree Salyer has already named Clemson and Georgia as his leaders and even named a commitment date. However, he has also named a "safety net" school and told DawgNation that the school is Ohio State.

He also made it clear that Stanford and Notre Dame will not be getting official visits while Florida will get one now. He still plans on seeing Ohio State for an official visit when they host Penn State later this year. Here was his specific quote on his current recruiting status:
"I kind of have two that have pushed past the others on the list in Georgia and Clemson," Salyer said. "I'm still considering Ohio State as a safety net just in case something tragic goes on with both schools but I really highly doubt that given how those two (teams) are playing right now."
Salyer is ranked as the top OG in the country and the No. 3 recruit in the state of Georgia according to Scout. The 6-foot-4, 342-pound guard also has offers from Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Miami and Michigan among others.
