The Ohio State Buckeyes were hoping for an easy win against the Indiana Hoosiers in their season opener, but a nightmare first half was capped off by a concerning injury to superstar wideout Marvin Harrison Jr..
In the final minute of the second quarter, the Buckeyes were attempting to drive down the field to add to their 7-3 lead. Quarterback Kyle McCord attempted to find Harrison downfield near the sideline, but the two were unable to connect.
To make matters worse, Harrison landed awkwardly on his elbow/shoulder and appeared to be in significant pain after the play. You can watch the play in the video below from JPAFootball on Twitter.

Harrison spent a few moments down on the sideline before eventually getting up with the help of trainers. While it seemed like an innocent enough fall, the way Harrison's arm was outside of his body led to him landing awkwardly and immediately grabbing for his shoulder after the play.
If the son of Indianapolis Colts legend Marvin Harrison ends up missing significant time, the pressure will be on fellow Ohio State wideout Emeka Egbuka to step up in place of the potential top 2024 NFL Draft pick.
The Hoosiers held their own in the first half, putting the Buckeyes on upset alert with just a 10-3 lead heading into halftime. Harrison returned in the second half for the Buckeyes, but the Hoosiers continued to give Ohio State trouble compared to expectations.
