It looks like former Clemson defensive back Korrin Wiggins won't be traveling too far.

On Thursday, the grad transfer announced that he would be finishing up his football career at East Carolina.

Wiggins picked East Carolina over Michigan, Oregon, and Maryland. He was restricted to transferring to any team on Clemson's 2017 schedule.
Wiggins is another boost for East Carolina, and he becomes the Pirates' fifth grad transfer this offseason. East Carolina has gotten Tyshon Dye (Clemson), defensive end Gaelin Elmore (Minnesota), quarterback Thomas Sirk (Duke) and punter Austin Barnes (Eastern Michigan) all in the past few months.
Wiggins sat out the entire 2015 season due to an ACL injury, and he missed quite a bit of the 2016 season thanks to further injuries. However, Wiggins proved to be a playmaker prior to his injuries, and his 2014 season with Clemson where he recorded 34 total tackles (3.5 TFL) and two interceptions is proof that he can make a difference if he can stay on the field.
