It looks like someone was impressed on Sunday.
Four-star defensive end Taquon Graham (6-foot-3, 255 pounds, Temple, TX) announced his commitment on Monday, and judging by who he picked, he was definitely impressed by a certain primetime game on Sunday.
Graham is only the eighth commitment for Texas and their 2017 class, but last year proved that number of recruits in September doesn't really matter. Texas's recruiting class looked bleak in 2016, all before the team surged in big-time commits on National Signing Day. Texas surged from 35th to the Top 10 in the recruiting rankings on that day alone.

Right now, Texas ranks 43rd over at 247Sports' recruiting rankings. If their performance on the field on Sunday — added with the National Signing Day performance — was any indication, then Texas could be in for a great recruiting class this year.
