Channing Tindall recently said that he had South Carolina and Auburn alone atop his schools list, but it would seem that he's had to do some thinking on the subject. While at Nike's The Opening, Tindall spoke with 247Sports about his top schools and he did a little backtracking.

Tindall said that it's not just two schools he's really looking at right now, but five. When asked about which schools are standing out he said, "South Carolina, Auburn, and Georgia....Florida and Notre Dame."
He went on to say that his commitment is likely coming before his senior season (this upcoming one) even though he doesn't have any official visits set right now. The Columbia, S.C. native had been favoring the hometown Gamecocks for a time, but it seems he's back to being pretty open in his recruitment.
The 6'2", 213-pound linebacker is ranked as the top recruit in the state of South Carolina and No. 4 OLB in the class of 2018 by 247Sports's own rankings. He also holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Tennessee and UNC as well as some others.
