Liberty Debuts Their Turnover 'Joker Mask' vs Bowling Green

Liberty's Kobe Singleton got to debut the Flames' new turnover celebration against Bowling Green, rocking a joker mask on the sideline.

While we had college football games last week for Week 0, Week 1 is where the full slate of games comes, and we're already seeing some exciting celebrations, including one from Liberty Flames cornerback Kobe Singleton.

Going up against Bowling Green at home, the Flames led 7-0 until Singleton had a 36-yard interception return for a touchdown. Bowling Green quarterback Connor Bazelak threw it into quadruple coverage, overthrowing his receiver, and Singleton was right there to come down with it.

Not only was the pick-six magnificent here, but Singleton celebrated in the best way possible on the sideline.

After picking it off, he returned to the sideline and put on a Joker mask to celebrate with his teammates and fans.

It's almost halftime in the game when we're writing this, and Liberty has a commanding 24-7 lead. Bazelak has completed just four passes for 42 yards and three interceptions. Liberty quarterback Kaidon Salter has thrown for 103 yards and a score and added 12 carries for 69 yards.

Treon Sibley lead the way in the receiving department for Liberty with two catches for 39 yards at the time of the pick six.

Singleton's pick-six was the sixth of his college career. He's in his second season with Liberty after playing for Southern Utah in 2021. He played in 13 games last season and accumulated 334 coverage snaps. He had two interceptions and allowed three touchdowns.

With Southern Utah, he played in 243 coverage snaps, allowed six touchdowns, and had three interceptions.

He's also added eight pass breakups between both schools.
