Wisconsin's Chez Mullins Breaks Game Open with 89-Yard Touchdown

The Wisconsin Badgers were in a bit of a fight with the Buffalo Bulls.

The first game of the Luke Fickell era promised what the team was calling a power air raid offense.

In the first half, they were neither powerful nor rolling through the air.

Despite being a 28-point favorite coming into the day, Wisconsin struggled in the first half, only getting out to a 14-10 lead.

Tanner Mordecai struggled in his Badgers' debut. Wisconsin's running game didn't find much traction either.

That lead would hold until midway through the third quarter when Wisconsin's backup running back broke the game open.

After a great punt by the Bulls, Wisconsin was backed up inside its own 20.

Then Chez Mullins happened.

89 yards later, Wisconsin had a 21-10 lead with far and away their most electric play of the day.

Mullins might be the backup to Braelon Allen, but with more runs like this one, he'll continue to share carries with the Badgers' star.

He makes for a nice change of pace to Allen's brute force.
