The seven-time championship-winning coach-turned-analyst started a segment wearing an all-white suit as ESPN's kickoff show descended upon the Penn State campus. However, the outfit change occurred after Penn State coach James Franklin headed onto the set with a gift in hand — a fuzzy Lion suit.

"As good as the white looks on you," Franklin said while gesturing toward Saban, "we prefer this version of Nick Saban."

As Franklin walked over to greet the other "College GameDay" hosts, Saban held up the outfit and asked, "Do I need to put this on?"

Pat McAfee, always the instigator, responded by saying, "You don't need to. You should though." The crowd of Penn State fans roared their approval in response.

As viewers of the long-running show saw, Saban did indeed put on the Lion outfit. He sat on the chair next to Franklin, who said, "Coach, you look beautiful. He looks beautiful. It's a good look on you."

Joking segments aside, this morning's show at Penn State University set up a pivotal matchup in the college football world. The Nittany Lions host the Oregon Ducks at Beaver Stadium, which holds more than 100,000 avid fans. This event will be the 18th White Out game for Penn State, and it will likely factor into the make up of the playoffs later this season.

Fun fact, Penn State has won six consecutive White Out games at Beaver Stadium. It will go for its seventh win against the Ducks, who have roared to 4-0 with blowout wins over Montana State, Oklahoma State, Northwestern, and Oregon State.

The Nittany Lions, for comparison, have moved to 3-0 with blowout wins over Nevada, FIU, and Villanova. Now, Franklin's team while try to keep this winning streak alive in only the sixth meeting between the two teams. Penn State leads the series 3-2, but Oregon won last season's matchup.

The White Out game at Beaver Stadium will air at 7:30 p.m. ET. NBC and Peacock will provide coverage for the high-profile matchup.
