Former North Carolina offensive lineman Mike Hobgood suffered a major heart attack on Wednesday, and he's now in the ICU according to the Charlotte Observer.
Hobgood is now the head coach of South Granville High School in Creedmoor, North Carolina, and he suffered the heart attack during his team's practice.

Hobgood's team was 7-0 and improved to 8-0 this week without their coach. School athletic director Jake Wolfheil said Hobgood is responsive and looking "much better."
Hobgood graduated from North Carolina in 1999, and he earned his first head coaching job in 2005 at South Granville. His team is wearing the Tar Heels' footprint logo on their helmets to honor their coach during his absence.
Hopefully his health improves and he can return to the sideline soon.
