One of the coolest things in college football right now is watching Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and his quarterback son Shedeur light up defenses. In just three games, the Sanders crew has already turned around a Buffaloes program that went 1-11 last year.
The "Sanders Crew," by the way, isn't just limited to those two. In fact, Deion's offspring have their hands all over Colorado. There's Shilo Sanders, who plays safety for the team. There's Deion Sanders Jr., the social media whiz, and plenty more.
Deion runs his mouth plenty, but maybe none of what he's said compares to the fact that he ranks all five of his children. He first did this on Instagram in December 2022, when he put son Deion Sanders Jr. first overall and Shilo dead last. Even after Colorado's overtime win against Colorado State, he was candid about the rankings, saying that Shilo was "moving up" and daughter Deiondra was too after a big hug and kiss following the win.

"It's tough. My kids rankings are tough. It's a serious run right now, it really is," he told reporters. "I'm the only one that's honest about ranking my kids. You guys act like you love all of them the same and you don't."

Shedeur Sanders Look Like a Star QB

Shedeur is the obvious kid to start with. After playing quarterback at Jackson State under his dad, he took his talents to Boulder, where he's looked Heisman-worthy. In his first game against TCU, he broke nine school records by throwing for 510 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-42 win. Through three games, he's thrown for 1,251 yards, 10 touchdowns and one interception.
At this rate, it appears the junior signal caller has a bright future in the NFL. Of course, he could choose to come back for his senior season under his dad. Deion has already claimed neither of his sons are heading to the NFL next year. But for now, let's enjoy watching him score touchdowns and pull off his dad's famous dance.
Shilo Sanders: The Safety

Deion has another son who plays for Colorado, as graduate student and safety Shilo Sanders is one of the leaders on defense next to Travis Hunter Jr. Shilo was a three-star recruit coming out of Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas, and he originally began his career at South Carolina. He transferred to Jackson State after two seasons and then followed his dad to Boulder.
Against Colorado State, Shilo pulled off a pick-six early in the game and was clocked at 21.5 mph on the play, per Reel Analytics, which was one of the fastest times of all college football players that weekend. Shilo also forced a fumble against the Rams, and after the game his dad told reporters he was climbing his rankings.
"He is moving on up like the Jeffersons, but Shedeur is straight-up balling too," he said.
Shilo and his family are making money in the NIL era, too. The entire family starred in a commercial for KFC recently, and a tasty one at that.

Shilo isn't quite regarded as a prospect the way his brother is, but their bond on and off the field is a special one.
Deion Sanders Jr. Played at SMU

Deion's offspring are all over the field. Shedeur at quarterback. Shilo at safety. And then there's his oldest son, Deion Jr., whom he had with his first wife, Carolyn Chambers.
Before Shedeur and Shilo were lighting up college football, Deion Sanders Jr. was doing so at SMU. He played for the Mustangs from 2013-15 as a 5-foot-7 defensive back and receiver. He mostly served as a kick returner, but he did log 23 catches for 188 yards in 2014.
Nowadays, Deion Jr. is a social media whiz. He has his hands all over his dad's social accounts, plus he's the CEO of Well Off Media, a YouTube account with more than 350,000 subscribers that gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at Colorado's football program. Wonder how he got that access, eh?
And if you're wondering why Deion Sr. "power ranked" his children in a birthday post for Deion Jr., well, consider who might be running the social media accounts.
"You have blown up my social," Deion Sr. wrote.
He may not be playing anymore, but Deion Jr. is as much a part of the Sanders team as anyone.
Shelomi Sanders Plays Basketball at Colorado

Now onto Deion's two daughters, and first up is Shelomi. She shares the same mom as Shedeur and Shilo, Deion's second wife, Pilar Sanders.
The youngest child of the five, Shelomi is a sophomore who recently transferred from Jackson State to Colorado, where she walked on to the Buffaloes women's basketball team.
Shelomi also has type 1 diabetes and is outspoken about her disease on social media.
"[Diabetes] takes a toll mentally......you get no days off with this stuff," Shelomi said.
Of course, Shelomi also has her own YouTube account. Hey, these kids do have prime time in their genes after all.
Deiondra Sanders Enjoys Being Behind the Scenes

The oldest child of Deion is Deiondra Sanders. She and Deion Jr. share the same mom. Deiondra said she had it tougher than the other children and is viewed as the rebel of the kids.
In a YouTube video on her account, she said she manages athletes and is a consultant.
"I love being behind the scenes. I am A-OK with nobody knowing I was involved in anything," she said.
Deiondra also has business in a trucking company and helps with the Global Black Coalition, which is a coalition of organizations working to ensure the safety of Black people fleeing the war in Ukraine, among other objectives.
She also just might be Colorado's biggest fan, as she's always on the sidelines supporting her family.
Everyone knows Deion Sanders loves the spotlight, but it seems he doesn't mind sharing it with his five children.
