The Colorado Buffaloes toughed out their fourth victory of the 2023-24 college football season in Week 6 against Arizona State Sun Devils on the road, and during the game, starting quarterback Shedeur Sanders showed off an expensive watch to the ASU student section, which became a viral moment and the talk of the game.
He did this in response to being called overrated before leading the game-winning drive with 50 seconds left.
Afterward, his head coach and father, Deion Sanders, mentioned that his son might have some NIL potential with a watch company to cash in with.
"We've just got to get him a lucrative watch deal," Sanders said at a press conference earlier this week. "He can't keep doing it for free. We got to capitalize. He is my son. We gotta capitalize on the moment, right?"
"Flossing" his wrist has become a signature celebration for Shedeur, and it's now dubbed by some as "The Shedeur," a celebration taking place in the NFL and NBA.

Now, Colorado will be back on national television in Week 7 as the Buffaloes head back home to Folsom Field to host the Stanford Cardinal for a 10:00 pm ET kickoff on ESPN. The last time we saw the Buffaloes in the spotlight like this, they won a double-overtime thriller against the Colorado State Rams.
The Cardinal are 1-4 this season and 0-3 in the Pac-12. Their only win this year came against Hawaii on the road.
Will be see Sanders' signature celebration again this week? The Cardinal have allowed 12 passing touchdowns and allow over 130 rushing yards per game.
The Buffaloes will look to notch their fifth win of the season, requiring just one more to be bowl-eligible at the end of the year. Even though it hasn't been pretty the last few weeks, the return of two-way star Travis Hunter could help the Buffaloes return to early-season form.
