Kevin Sumlin is trying to get his staff together at Arizona and it looks like he’s bringing in one guy who he’s worked with before. Not only that, but according to Bruce Feldman, he’s snagging him away from a Big 12 team.

Alabama actually hired Jeff Banks this offseason, but Springer will at least be going back to a situation that’s familiar with Sumlin in a special teams capacity. Springer was part of the special teams staff that coaxed eight blocked kicks and punts out of his team in 2016, which led the nation.
