Oregon Mascot Does Hilarious Impression of Deion Sanders

The Oregon Ducks mascot, Puddles, did his best Deion Sanders impression prior to their game against the Colorado Buffaloes.

The Colorado-Oregon game has had plenty of buildup over the past week, much of it centered around the Buffaloes and Deion Sanders, and the Ducks mascot decided to have some fun with that.

The Oregon Duck mascot had something to say about that prior to the start of the game. Puddles, as he is known, came out sporting a Coach Prime signature look complete with sunglasses and a cowboy hat.

The duck wasn't content to stop there. Spotting a clock with the words "Prime Time" written on it, he attempted to smash it.

In doing so, however, the duck lost his headgear, a no-no in the mascot rulebook.

This isn't the first time Puddles has made headlines this season. In the team's opener against Portland State, he did 546 pushups in his team's 81-7 blowout. The 81 points were a program record in the modern era, so Puddles got quite a workout.

Imitation is often the sincerest form of flattery, but it seems more likely the duck was attempting to mock Coach Prime and grab more pub. Perhaps Puddle should stick to pushups from now on. Better yet, double-check the headgear next time.

Fortunately for Puddles, the Ducks backed up his smack talk with their play on the field. Bo Nix and Oregon's offense had no issue moving the ball against the Buffaloes in the first half, heading into halftime with a 35-0 lead. Shedeur Sanders and Colorado's offense couldn't respond to any of Oregon's scoring drives, with the young quarterback struggling to throw with pressure constantly in his face.
