Notre Dame and Brian Kelly have had one of the worst years in the school's football history, at least since 2007 when they went 3-9 under Charlie Weis. The Fighting Irish are currently 2-5 and are only expected to go 4-8 for the rest of the season according to ESPN's FPI.

That has led to many speculating about Kelly being on the hot seat and prompted athletic director Jack Swarbrick to make a comment about it. He supported Kelly and has guaranteed that the coach will have that same title by the time next season comes around.

ESPN's Paul Finebaum has other thoughts though as he thinks Kelly has lost the team and should have been fired already.
Those are some pretty strong feelings and ones that most fans are probably feeling as well.
