With the conclusion of SEC Media Days this week also came the official media voting for where each team will finish in the conference. While it's still too early to really tell how things will turn out as suspensions or injuries between now and the beginning of the season could derail someone's season, this is a good practice in setting expectations. Here is also a complete breakdown of the voting as someone gave Vanderbilt a vote to win the conference, but they didn't get any votes to win their own division.
So most of the media has the East as a two-team race between Florida and Georgia while the West is pretty much locked up by Alabama. Of course, the season isn't played on paper so anything can, and likely will, happen before it's all said and done. Alabama does start the season with a tough game against Florida State who is also expected to contend for a national title so that could derail the year real quick if they don't go out and run the table the rest of the season.
