One of the country's most sought after defensive ends is narrowing down his choices. On Monday, the No. 8 weak-side defensive end in the country, Deonte "D.J." Johnson (6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Sacramento, Ca.) released his top ten list of schools. There are quite a few on the California product's list — only one of them from the SEC in Alabama, and four others from the Pac-12 including Oregon, Utah, Washington, Arizona and Arizona State.

247Sports lists Johnson as a 100% lock to land at Miami, where he unofficially visited in June. Hurricanes head coach Mark Richt offered him in early May.
