Recent four-star Notre Dame decommit now has new powerhouse in his top group of schools

This is intriguing.

Notre Dame recently lost a huge commitment when four-star cornerback Kalon Gervin decommitted back in May. He already released a top five list of schools that included Louisville, Michigan State, Oregon, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech, but it seems he's made some room for one more school after attending their camp this past weekend.

The 5'11", 180-pound CB camped at Alabama this weekend and got an offer from the Crimson Tide as well. He told Scout that the offer has catapulted them into his top schools. The Detroit native is ranked as the No. 21 CB in the class of 2018 and No. 2 recruit in the state of Michigan according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He also holds offers from Arkansas, Colorado, California, Baylor, Florida, LSU, Michigan and Penn State among many others.
