Four-star safety and Under Armour All-American Leon O'Neal was supposed to take a visit to Alabama this weekend, but it looks like he won't be doing that after all. That's according to SEC Country anyway as they are saying that he will no longer be in Tuscaloosa this weekend.
Nick Saban visited him in his native Cypress, Texas and convinced him to take an official visit this weekend. However, it wasn't meant to be apparently and it's probably safe to say the Crimson Tide is out of the picture now.
It's the most important weekend of the year for the 2018 recruiting as it's the last chance for schools to make an impression on recruits before they make their collegiate decisions the following Wednesday. O'Neal already named his top four schools in Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.
Now, he's just down to three without Oklahoma in the picture. He's ranked as the No. 9 safety in the class of 2018 and the No. 8 recruit in the state according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder also has offers from Alabama, Houston, LSU, Michigan and Ohio State among others.
