Four-star running back Dameon Pierce decommitted from Alabama back in May and his recruitment has been pretty open since then. He took his third visit to Auburn this weekend and spoke with running backs coach Tim Horton. Pierce told 247Sports that he could see himself fitting in there, but also that the Tigers have now made him a “priority” in the class of 2018.

Saturday’s visit made quite the impression on Pierce and he said, “They will always be in the mix for me. I love Auburn. They are a running school. They got a great offense. They are always in the conversation.”

He explained that he wanted to keep his options open, which is why he ultimately re-opened his recruitment back up. Pierce is the No. 9 running back in the class and No. 20 recruit out of Georgia according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The Bainbridge native only has two predictions in his crystal ball, but they are both with Georgia right now.
