It hasn't exactly been the greatest start to the Chad Morris Era in Fayetteville. The Arkansas Razorbacks are on the brink of a historically bad season and now the team will be without two star players for this week's game against the Missouri Tigers for a rather unusual reason.
Prior to last Saturday's game, one that saw the lowly Razorbacks get pummeled 52-6 by the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Scott Field in Starkville, Mississippi, defensive backs Kamren Curl and Ryan Pulley were reportedly spotted talking and taking photos with members of the Bulldogs' spirt squad during pregame warmups.
So Curl, a sophomore from San Diego, and Pulley, a junior from Fort Myers, Florida, have been suspended for the regular-season finale at Mizzou for their actions.

Although Morris never gave the full reason why both players have been suspended from the team, the report from former Arkansas All-SEC tight end D.J. Williams, who now works at Little Rock television station KARK-Channel 4 after a brief NFL career, seems to be the deciding factor here.

Both Curl, who has started all 11 games in 2018, and Pulley, who has started nine games this season, apparently thought someone, presumably Williams, was out to get them in trouble.
The Razorbacks are currently winless in SEC play at 0-7 and are trying to avoid having a two-win season for the first time since 1952.
Without two starting defensive backs going against NFL hopeful and Tigers quarterback Drew Lock, avoiding the wrong side of history has now become even more difficult.
Were these suspensions justified or did this entire situation get blown out of proportion? Perhaps if the defense didn't give up 52 points, this would be a non-story.
It's hard to say, or what to really believe, but two Arkansas players definitely got suspended for flirting with the MSU dance team, and that's a first.
