Famous Maroon Band Gets the Last Egg Bowl Laugh With This Troll Song

Prior to the season, everyone knew Landshark Tony was the worst shark in college football history. It was no secret, but the jokes about Ole Miss' new mascot fail fizzled out quickly. Thankfully, the Mississippi State marching band made up for it with a parting troll at the Egg Bowl.

The game itself Thursday night was a snoozer. The Bulldogs absolutely pounded the Rebels, 35-3, at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi. It was really no contest, which is rather disappointing considering it is a heated rivalry game, but at least some fans got a good laugh when the game finally ended.

As fans were exiting the stadium, the MSU band took a jab at Tony and the home fan base by playing "Baby Shark" as loud as they could.

In case you don't get the reference, here is the actual Pinkfong song. It's pretty ridiculous.

It's one thing to do it at home. But it's definitely a different story for an opposing band to pull it off.

Well done, Famous Maroon Band. Well done.

Of course, everyone will talk about the brawl at the end of the third quarter, and understandably so. An unsportsmanlike penalty was given to literally every single player and others were ejected for their roles in the fight.

That got ugly in a hurry and the touchdown didn't even count.

But while that was the only intense moment in the game — one that saw Mississippi State and quarterback Nick Fitzgerald rack up 420 yards of offense, including 309 on the ground — it was the closing song that really got the last laugh.
