Gators announce WR James Robinson will not play again at Florida because of his heart condition
— Mark Long (@APMarkLong) December 8, 2017
Florida freshman receiver James Robinson didn't play for much of the year because he had a pretty scary health issue. He had an irregular heart scan and it appears that he got some more bad news as he tweeted this out:

So it looks like he will not get the opportunity to play for the Gators and will have to call his career quits before he ever gets to see the field at the collegiate level.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Robinson didn't play in Florida's first game of the season against Michigan because he was suspended for marijuana possession. According to Blake Alderman of 247Sports, Robinson was expected to be able to go in Week 2 and he was expected to be the Gators' third-string "Z" receiver, but his Florida debut ran into a pretty significant road block with his heart scan.
The Lakeland native was ranked as the No. 14 receiver in the country for the class of 2017 and No. 21 recruit in the state of Florida according to 247Sports.
