Florida and Jim McElwain have parted ways and there are some people who just don't feel sorry for McElwain getting kicked out of Gainesville. Despite McElwain owning a 22-12 record and two SEC title game appearances, the school felt it was necessary to find some newer blood and it would appear FOX Sports' Joel Klatt does not fall in the sympathetic camp for McElwain at all.
Klatt does have ties to Colorado since he played there in the mid-2000s so there's probably a little bit of rivalry talking here. However, it sounds like he really just doesn't like how McElwain conducts certain business and he has no sympathy for the coach who's buyout was originally worth just a shade under $13 million.
