Florida has now fired head coach Jim McElwain and the search for another head coach begins. However, it looks like one former SEC coordinator is throwing his name into the hat. Former Alabama offensive coordinator and current FAU head coach Lane Kiffin tweeted this out after the news broke of McElwain's firing:

Of course, his original tweet could be referring to his own Owls who are 4-0 in conference play and are looking better as each week goes on. However, most people probably aren't going to see it that way and will keep speculating that Kiffin wants in on some Gator action until they officially name a new coach.
