After firing Jim McElwain, Florida now making another huge change

Here we go.

Florida has gotten rid of Jim McElwain and now it looks like interim head coach Randy Shannon has made another major change heading into this weekend's game at Missouri.

Malik Zaire will get his first start of the season after becoming a graduate transfer from Notre Dame for the Gators this year. It should be an opportune time for a new quarterback as Missouri is second-to-last in the conference in total defense and allows almost 261 yards passing each game.

Zaire finished his Notre Dame career with 816 passing yards, six throwing touchdowns, 324 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
