The Florida gators are looking for a new head coach after getting rid of Jim McElwain and Paul Finebaum thinks he knows who the "first choice" will be. He was on ESPN's Mike & Mike Tuesday morning discussing the Gators and said that UCF's Scott Frost is believed to be the top option for the school.
He also said that he believes if Nebraska came calling for Frost he would choose Florida over his alma mater where he won a national title. Regardless of where he chooses to go, the school that lands him is probably going to be pretty happy with the offense he brings as his Knights are averaging 51 points and over 500 yards a game.
Dan Mullen, Chip Kelly and several other big name coaches have been linked to the Florida job as well, but it looks like there might be a leader emerging. The Gators wouldn't exactly be "settling" if they ended up with either of those other two coaches either.
