Steve Spurrier has the utmost confidence in Florida to beat Michigan despite suspensions

Confident indeed!

Florida is now dealing with extra stress ahead of its season opener against Michigan because of the suspension of seven players. However, there's one former Florida legend that's convinced his suspension along with six of his teammates won't really matter against the Wolverines. He spoke on his new SiriusXM show about it and is convinced Florida can still win the game.

"He's a good receiver, but the Gators have a lot of good receivers," Spurrier said. "I think we have enough good ballplayers to beat Michigan and the outcome won't be affected."

The Gators may not have a receiver that's as dynamic as Callaway with his 89 catches, 1,399 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in his two seasons, but they do have depth. They've got Dre Massey who was out all of last year with an injury, senior Brandon Powell, Joshua Hammond (brother of Frankie), freshman James Robinson, Freddie Swain and Tyrie Cleveland who came on nicely last season.

All of those receivers combined for 81 catches, 980 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season. With Massey in the mix and some better quarterback play, the numbers should look a lot better and lead to some better-looking wins as well down the road.
