After delaying commitment, four-star WR Ja'Marr Chase now has third school emerging for him

Looks like the extra time has given him an extra school to worry about.

Four-star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was unfairly forced to delay his commitment earlier in the month when his commitment time was nixed in favor of a more high-profile recruit. It seems that the delayed announcement has given him more time to think on where he wants to go and he's named another school that's jumped into his top choices.

He told 247Sports that Florida has now entered the race and that was after he attended Friday Night Lights in Gainesville this weekend. He's pleased with what he's been shown by the staff and how the Gators will run their offense by the time he gets on campus.

"You know, I just like Florida, I like the offense, they're SEC, they're pro-style and now they throw the ball more," Chase said. "They're not like a running team, so that's a great fit for me."

He did say that all three schools are on equal footing so the Gators don't have an advantage, but the fact that they are in the top three right now bodes well. The 6'1", 195-pound Chase is rated as the No. 6 player at his position and No. 2 recruit in the state of Louisiana according to 247Sports' own rankings. He also holds offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Texas Tech among others.

Here are some of his highlights:
