Five-star quarterback Justin Fields is ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit in the country, so his commitment was going to cause a shift in recruiting. But most people probably weren't expecting THIS big of a change.
After Fields announced his commitment to Georgia, the Bulldogs shot up 10 spots in the ESPN recruiting rankings to the No. 11 spot. Georgia's class is a little behind some of the others in terms of quantity, but they certainly aren't lacking quality with Fields — and five-star Zamir White — as part of their class.
Of course, things could continue to get better for the Bulldogs; Fields is a popular player, and his commitment could spur other top recruits to make their decision in favor of Kirby Smart's Georgia team.
Ohio State is still the No. 1 team in ESPN's recruiting rankings, a spot they held for the entire summer. Texas, Penn State, Miami, and Tennessee round out the Top 5 for ESPN as of press time.
