Georgia QB Jacob Eason has sprained ligament in left knee. Won't need surgery. "He'll be back from it. He'll be back this year," Smart siad.

No surgery for Jacob Eason. Sprained left knee. Week to week, said Kirby Smart.

That means Georgia will have a new starter next week and it's been announced already.
Smart: Eason will not play this week, and he'll be week-to-week beyond that. Fromm starting at ND.

Eason only attempted three passes in the game and completed one for 3 yards. Fromm finished the game completing 10-of-15 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown en route to a 31-10 win against Appalachian State.
