Nation's No. 1 overall recruit Justin Fields reportedly suffers injury

That can't be good.

Five-star dual-threat quarterback and Georgia commit Justin Fields got a visit from Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart on Thursday night. That wasn't the only thing to happen that night though according to Chad Simmons of Rivals as Fields reportedly suffered a hand injury:

It remains to be seen how this will affect Fields for the rest of the season, but it is going to be pretty difficult to throw with a fractured index finger. The 6-foot-3, 221-pound dual-threat QB could see the rest of his season from the bench if this injury proves to be too difficult to play around, but we still don't know how it might affect his playing as of now.
