Ed Orgeron shuts down fan critical of his coaching job

He was not happy with that question...

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron has gone from beloved to embattled in less than a year and some of the fans questioning the hire have come across on the  coach's weekly radio show. One caller was so critical that Orgeron had to shut them down and tell them the job was his and was earned.

That's a pretty strong response from the coach who's only in his first year in Baton Rouge. Most fan bases would cut their coach some slack considering he's still got to go out and recruit his guys for a couple years and he's coaching in possibly the toughest division in college football. This just goes to show how much of a "what have you done for me lately?" crowd SEC fans have become.

The team is 3-2 with a bad loss to Mississippi State and a huge upset loss to Troy at home so that's why some fans are angry. However, there are going to be some bumps and bruises in a coach's first full year. But LSU fans are likely not interested in being patient considering what rival Alabama has done the past few years.
