Ed Orgeron's first full season as LSU's head coach is off to a rocky start after his Tigers were upset by Troy 24-21 in Baton Rouge on Saturday.
LSU is 3-2, but they haven't looked good on either side of the ball since the season-opening win against BYU. Orgeron hasn't even been at LSU for a full season, and Tiger fan Chad McGehee decided to start a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to pay for Orgeron's $12 million buyout.

Here's the description on the campaign's page:
"The AD couldn't do it, so it is up to us... save our program, help our state.
We have to remove Coach O and thanks to our AD, he has a huge buyout... time to take care of the cajun and protect LSU.
Tell Joe and Oeaux goodbye."

McGehee has only raised $230 of the $12 million he needs to pay for the buyout, so his efforts to "save LSU football" aren't exactly off to a promising start.
Orgeron's career isn't off to a promising start either, but he deserves a little time since he wasn't left with a quarterback from the Les Miles era.
This year is a lost cause, but Orgeron deserves at least another year to prove he's the right man for the job. LSU fans probably aren't interested in being patient, though.
