For one season, Joe Burrow was the most prolific quarterback in college football ever. Under Joe Cool, the 2019 LSU Tigers scored 48.4 points per game, beat the brakes off everyone en route to a 15-0 record, and were crowned champions in what was arguably the best season ever.
That one season was all it took for Burrow to become a legend in Baton Rouge. Fans of the purple and gold will forever be thankful for the national title No. 9 helped bring to Tigertown, alongside head coach Ed Orgeron.
But of all the highlight reel plays and awesome videos from the Heisman Trophy winner's season, one piece of footage stands above the rest: his walk-out during LSU's senior night, which featured the unforgettable Joe "Burreaux" jersey. It's pure goosebumps.
Joe Burrow's Unforgettable Senior Night Walk-Out
One by one, LSU's seniors walked out to their individual applause before playing Texas A&M in their final home game. Then Burrow trotted out with a customized jersey to pay homage to Louisiana. Death Valley couldn't get enough of it, for obvious reasons.
The jersey tribute was actually Burrow's idea, too.
"I thought it would just be an awesome tribute to the state, to the university," he told The Associated Press. "It's been awesome not only for me, but for my family as well. ... I'm going to miss it with all my heart and I couldn't be more grateful."

To make the night even better, Burrow lit up the Aggies for 352 passing yards and three touchdowns. LSU won handily, 50-7. The fitting senior night wasn't the final highlight of LSU's season, as the Tigers beat Georgia in the SEC Championship Game and crushed Oklahoma and Clemson in the College Football Playoff.
Burrow finished with NCAA single-season records for total offense (6,040 yards) and passing touchdowns (60), the latter of which was broken by Western Kentucky quarterback Bailey Zappe in 2021.
As Joe Burrow leads the Cincinnati Bengals through another postseason in the NFL, fans should always remember this night. Burrow's walk-out should be a core memory for every LSU fan, and his "Burreaux" jersey belongs in every Tiger fan's wardrobe.
