Four-star Tennessee decommit Jaycee Horn flips to an SEC rival

Wow.

Four-star defensive back Jaycee Horn, a former Tennessee commit, announced his commitment to South Carolina on Monday via Twitter.

Horn announced his decommitment from the Vols via Twitter in November shortly after the reports emerged on the team's reached memorandum of understanding with Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano, which inevitably fell through after protests by fans.

"I want to thank Coach (Butch) Jones and the staff for giving me the opportunity to play at such a great university," Horn wrote in a note posted on his Twitter account. "I also want to thank the fans for always rooting for me and (their) endless support. This is one of the hardest decisions I've made, but ultimately I have to make the best decision for me."

Horn announced his commitment to the Vols during an exclusive live stream for SECCountry.com in July.

Horn, the son of former Pro Bowl wide receiver Joe Horn, ranks as the No. 25 cornerback and the No. 219 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings for the 2018 national recruiting cycle.

South Carolina currently ranks No. 17 overall in the 247Sports Team Composite, which is also fifth among SEC schools.
