Less than a month after he walked off Auburn with some late-game heroics in a thrilling rivalry series, the sophomore shortstop was back to adding to his highlight reel against Missouri. Fans knew he could handle the stick at the plate, but he also has some terrific range in the field.
He broke out a jump throw reminiscent of Derek Jeter to steal away a single.
Jim Jarvis' Jump Throw

Alabama completed the sweep of the Tigers over the weekend with a nail-biter 3-2 win on Sunday.
In the top of the eighth inning, Tre Morris bounced a ball in the hole where Jim Jarvis AKA The Human Vacuum gobbled it up and spit it out in jump throw fashion. It looked straight out of New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter's highlights. He one-hopped the first baseman to rob Missouri of a hit and a potential rally starter.
Jarvis, who comes from a baseball family, has some faint ties to Captain Clutch. His brother, Luke Jarvis, played college baseball at Auburn and was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 25th round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Jeter is the CEO of the Marlins.
The Alabama shortstop finished the game 1-for-2 with a run scored. The Tide earned the series sweep to improve to 28-15 overall and 11-10 in conference play. They've won four in a row and sit fourth in the SEC West standings.
"This was a big win for us. It's really hard to get sweeps in this league," Alabama head coach Brad Bohannon said afterward.
Jim Jarvis may not have a home run this season but he does this awesome jump throw that made Sewell-Thomas Stadium go wild.
