Florida's sophomore outfielder has been a bright spot for the Gators softball team all season. She's hitting .336. She's stolen 10 bases. She's also absolutely relentless in the outfield as a defender.
In Florida's highly-anticipated series against the LSU Tigers, Kistler's fielding prowess was on full display when she robbed a home run and delivered a Little League-like reaction.

LSU's Shelbi Sunseri stepped to the plate in the bottom of the fourth in the second game of the series on Saturday looking to do some damage. She cranked a ball to left field and thought she could "kist" it goodbye.
Kistler drifted back, reached over the wall and at first glance appeared to have dropped the ball. However, she was able to barehand it as it bounced back into play. The best part was her reaction because she looked like she was back in her youth softball days as she jumped for joy.
Also an underrated part of this play? The little girl's reaction just beyond the wall. You think she'll ever forget that play? Heck no.
In the middle of all that celebrating, Kistler forgot that there was a runner on first, but she was thankfully able to get the ball to the infield in time before she could advance to second.
Florida wound up winning the game, 6-1. Kistler was key at the plate, too, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. The Gators left Baton Rouge with two wins to improve to 38-13 on the season.
As long as Katie Kistler is making catches like these, there's no stopping the Florida Gators.
