Tiger Woods Involved in Rollover Crash in Florida

Golfer Tiger Woods has been involved in a rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida. His condition remains unknown as the investigation into the incident continues.

The crash occurred at approximately 2 p.m. ET in the town where Woods lives. WPTVposted a photo that showed an SUV turned over on its side. This vehicle reportedly belongs to the golf pro.

According to WPTVthe Martin County Sheriff's Office will speak to media members at 5 p.m. ET about the incident. No cause for the crash has been revealed.

Back in 2021, Woods was involved in another rollover crash. His SUV rolled several times outside of Los Angeles. He remained trapped in the vehicle until first responders used the Jaws of Life to extricate him.

His agent released a statement after the crash saying that he had sustained multiple leg injuries and underwent surgery. Woods ultimately spent three weeks in the hospital recovering. He underwent another surgery in 2023.

The incident in Jupiter, Florida, occurred as Woods continues to recover from multiple injuries. He ruptured his Achilles tendon. He also underwent surgery on his back in October 2025.

The 50-year-old has mostly remained away from competition during his recovery. However, he competed in the league that he co-created, the TGL. His Jupiter Links team lost to the Los Angeles Golf Club in the Finals.

Woods indicated after he event that he continued to weigh a possible return to the PGA Tour for The Masters, which begin on April 9.

"This body ... it doesn't recover like it did when it was 24, 25," Woods said, per ESPN. "It doesn't mean I'm not trying. I've had a couple bad injuries here over the past years that I've had to fight through and it's taken some time. But I keep trying.

"I want to play. I love the tournament. I'm going to be there either way with The Loop that's going up there, as well as the champions dinner. ...We'll see how it goes. I'll be practicing, playing at home this week and keep trying to make progress."
