Tiger Woods' Private Jet Touches Down in US

A private jet linked to Tiger Woods has landed back in Florida, signaling a possible return to the U.S. after more than a month overseas.

The plane, a Gulfstream G550, had departed from Zurich earlier in the day and touched down at Palm Beach International Airport, per TMZ. While it hasn't been officially confirmed that Woods was on board, all signs point in that direction.

The timing lines up.

Woods had been in Switzerland since early April, shortly after his DUI-related arrest and rollover crash. He was granted permission by a judge to seek treatment outside the country, with reports indicating he entered a high-end rehab facility in Zurich.

Roughly 40 days later, that stretch appears to be over.

So what does this mean? It suggests Woods could be back home and potentially in a better place physically and personally. That part matters most.

The legal situation, though, is still in play.

Earlier this week, prosecutors were granted access to Woods' prescription drug records as part of the case. Authorities are looking into what medications, if any, may have been involved at the time of the crash.

Woods is facing misdemeanor charges, including DUI and refusal to submit to testing. He has pleaded not guilty.

The return to the U.S. doesn't resolve any of that.  But it at least marks what seems to be the next step.
