This event, which will air live on Netflix, will take place on Monday, July 13. The batters will take to the plate at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia as the Home Run Derby begins at 8 p.m. ET.

The full roster is not yet available for the upcoming exhibition event. However, two players have confirmed their participation. Both Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero and New York Yankees multi-position player Ben Rice will take part.

Caminero made it to the final round of last year's event. He ultimately finished second with 15 homers in the final round behind Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh and his 18 homers.

Caminero, an All-Star last season, has 78 career home runs. He has hit 26 this season as the Rays have started off 53-36. The Rays currently have the lead in the AL East.

Rice is currently on pace to set a new career-best mark this season, his third with the Yankees. He hit seven home runs in only 50 games in 2024, and then he hit 26 home runs in 138 games last season. He has already his 26 home runs this season while appearing in 86 games.

This year's Home Run Derby will feature a new format as batters try to show off their skills to the world. They will no longer have a timer limiting them. Instead, they will just have an allotted number of swings, which they will use to try to hit as many home runs as possible.

They will pursue this goal in front of a broadcast team packed with big names. This group includes MLB legends Barry Bonds, CC Sabathia, Anthony Rizzo, and Hunter Pence. The former players will team up with Elle Duncan, Matt Vasgersian, and Lauren Shehadi
