Former league MVP Bryce Harper went down with what looked like a serious knee injury Saturday night and now we've got some news on it. ESPN is reporting that there is no structural or significant damage fortunately:

Harper is having another MVP-caliber season —- he won the NL MVP award in 2015 —- and this little tidbit is the reason why:

Harper is hitting .326, has 29 home runs, has 87 RBIs and a .419 on-base percentage. He will definitely be missed for the Nationals who are 69-45 and 1st in the NL East.
