Ingrid Andress Admits To Being Drunk Before Singing The Star-Spangled Banner: 'I'm Checking Myself Into A Facility'

Four-time Grammy-nominated singer Ingrid Andress has went viral for her performance of singing the National Anthem ahead of the MLB All-Star Home Run Derby Monday at Globe Life Field in Texas.

That is to say, now we might know why it was so bad, because she was a little bit tipsy before being given the microphone.

"I'm not gonna bulls*** y'all, I was drunk last night," she wrote on all three social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and X). "I'm checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I'll let y'all know how rehab is. I hear it's super fun."

This rendition of the national anthem will go down in history right next to Fergie, who many thought would never be topped.

Fans had a lot to say about what they heard, as many hoped they never had to listen, considering that Ingrid missed nearly every note and was off-key for almost the entirety of the U.S. national anthem.

Some even guessed correctly that she was drunk while singing the patriotic music composition.

With that being said, in all seriousness hopefully Ingrid gets the help she needs staying away from the alcohol, as she probably sounds better when sober.
