MLB player takes a 95 MPH fastball to the face and collapses in agony

This has happened two days in a row to two different players.

This is never a good scene.

With New York matched up against Seattle, flame throwing Mets' pitcher Jacob DeGrom hit Mariners' Mitch Haniger in the face with a 95-mph fastball. Haniger went down and he was in agony:

The Mariners later announced Haniger left the game with a mouth contusion and was being further examined.

It was the second time in as many days a Major League player has been hit by a line drive. Diamondbacks pitcher Robbie Ray was hit was a 105 MPH line drive the day prior and carted off the field.

Both are expected to make a full recovery.
