As everyone already knows, NFL superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been traded from the New York Giants to the once-hapless Cleveland Browns. It was a move that certainly shocked many football fans, especially those in Northeast Ohio, but a new era is here.

Every Browns fan is excited right now, and rightfully so. The move to acquire OBJ makes the franchise a potential Super Bowl contender as he gets reunited with former LSU wide receiver Jarvis Landry, and paired up with former No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield. Needless to say, a celebration of some kind has already started before they have even practiced together.
However, for as pumped as fans should be, the Akron RubberDucks — the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians — took it too way far.
The Minor League Baseball team has created the "OBJ Dog" that is an all-beef jumbo hot dog dipped in Louisiana hot sauce and topped with an onion-back-jalepeno relish to represent his initials.

The "OBJ Dog" costs $7 and will be sold at the Dog Pound concession stand near third base on the Canal Park concourse.
Seriously, this sounds disgusting. The only things that truly belong on a hot dog — and definitely not together — are ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, relish, chili, and cheese. That's it.
The concept is pretty clever. The RubberDucks want to be creative and honor the Cajun-born Beckham. But dipping a hot dog in Louisiana hot sauce? No thank you.
A hot dog is as American as baseball. The two are synonymous, really. There is just no sense in screwing it up this way. Just give us some great Ball Park Beef Franks and call it a day.
This isn't the first time the Akron RubberDucks have done player-specific promotions. They've had the "Thanks, Joe!" sandwich for Browns legend Joe Thomas, the "Return of the King Burger" and "LeBlock Burger" for former Cleveland Cavaliers forward and NBA superstar LeBron James, "The Delly Dog" for former Cavs guard Matthew Dellavedova, and even the "Johnny Footlong" for former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel.
Now, it's the "OBJ Dog." There will be plenty of plenty who try this thing because they are excited for Beckham to be in Cleveland, but that's a hard pass here.
